Dr. Kyle Prusso named Director of Clinics at San Jose campus

Kyle Prusso, D.C., CCSP, has been selected to fill the new Director of Clinics position for Palmer College’s San Jose campus.

“I’m honored and excited to accept this position as Director of Clinics at the San Jose campus,” said Dr. Prusso. In his new role he’s responsible for the quality and delivery of patient care and intern clinical education, the continuing development and education of the faculty and staff, and general administration and financial management.

“During my two years at Palmer, I have grown to love the students, and appreciate the hard work of the faculty and staff.  I’m excited to be a part of the growth of the clinic, and I look forward to the things to come. I hope to be of service to the clinic faculty, staff and, of course, the interns.”

In addition to his clinician’s role at the Palmer Chiropractic Clinic, Dr. Prusso also provides chiropractic care for Applied Materials employees at their Santa Clara-based wellness center, and has served as team chiropractor for the Oakland Raiders since 2005. Dr. Prusso was recently elected to his second term as president of the Professional Football Chiropractic Society (PFCS), which includes the chiropractors for every NFL franchise.

In making the formal announcement about Dr. Prusso’s new role, Greg Snow, D.C., Dean of Clinics at Palmer’s San Jose campus commented: “I’m very excited to have Dr. Prusso assume this position and provide additional administrative support to our patients, interns and doctors. Increasing the administrative support of the clinic system will allow us to continue to advance the educational experiences of Palmer’s teaching clinics.”

Dr. Prusso, a 2003 graduate of Life Chiropractic College West, maintained a private practice in Oakland prior to his appointment to Palmer’s San Jose campus faculty in 2012.
