Palmer’s West campus to host multidisciplinary job fair

Have you ever thought about working in an integrated practice setting?

Then you’ll want to take advantage of the opportunity to meet with representatives from organizations scheduled to participate in the multidisciplinary job fair presented by the Palmer Center for Business Development at Palmer College’s West campus in San Jose from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018.

Cerner, Crossover Health and One Medical Group are among the companies scheduled to participate in the multidisciplinary health fair at Palmer’s West campus on Jan., 8, 2018.

Organizations accepting applications from qualified candidates at the event are scheduled to include:

Preferred applicants should have:

  • California D.C. license
  • A strong interest in working with other health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Strong skills in musculoskeletal diagnosis, manual procedures, exercise and rehabilitative interventions
  • A minimum of two years of practice experience (some companies may require more)
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary setting, with an ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of evidence-based medicine

Premise Health and the Veterans Health Administration are also scheduled to have representatives available to interview applicants at the multidisciplinary health fair scheduled for Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Palmer’s West campus in San Jose.

Upon arrival, please enter through the main entrance (facing Tasman Drive), where you’ll be directed to the event, which will take place in the Library.

“Growing opportunities for doctors of chiropractic in the corporate, military, and other multidisciplinary settings speak to the clinical and cost-effectiveness of the care we provide – as well as the growing demand from patients served in these settings,” said West Campus President Bill Meeker, D.C., M.P.H., F.P.A.C..

“We’re excited to host our first integrated career fair, and working with the Palmer Center for Business Development, we’re pleased to provide Palmer alumni with this unique opportunity,” he added. “Doctors of chiropractic who participate will have the opportunity to meet and interview with representatives from different multidisciplinary organizations seeking to increase their chiropractic staff – all in one place.”
