Palmer’s Florida Campus graduates forty-sixth class
Palmer College’s Florida Campus graduated the forty-sixth class to graduate from the Port Orange campus on Friday, Sept. 22. Fifty-six students received their Doctor of Chiropractic degree in a ceremony held at the News-Journal Center in Daytona Beach. The commencement address was given by Sean Norkus, D.C. The Conferring of degrees and presentation of awards were conducted by Campus President Peter Martin, D.C., William Sherrier, D.C. Interim Dean of Academic Affairs and Shane Cater, D.C., M.B.A., Dean of Clinics.
The Valedictorian Award was presented to Kurt Virgin, Illinois. Maria Dorski, Ohio and Ashley Fox, West Virginia, were presented with the Salutatorian Award. The Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award was presented to Dylan Saulsbery, Pennsylvania. Jessica Lofgren, Virginia, was presented with the Clinical Excellence Award. The Dr. James Buerkle Memorial Award was presented to Lindsay Fierman, Florida.
