Davenport campus graduates take the Chiropractic Oath during commencement ceremony

Davenport campus graduates begin their journey

Palmer College’s Davenport campus held commencement ceremonies on Friday, June 16 in Vickie Anne Palmer Hall auditorium. The commencement speaker was Palmer Vice Chancellor for Marketing & Communication James O’Connor, APR. “You’re now ready to go forth and change lives,” O’Connor said. “Always remember: Belief is the acceptance of a map. Faith is taking the journey.”

Forty-four students received Doctor of Chiropractic degrees, 16 received Bachelor of Science in general science degrees and two received Associate of Applied Science in chiropractic technology degrees during commencement. Students were from Canada, China, South Korea and 16 U.S. states. Class awards were given to: Katelyn Pfaffinger, Marengo, Ill., Valedictorian; Nicole Olechowitcz, Pittsburgh, Pa., Salutatorian; Logan Smith, Las Vegas, Nev., Clinical Excellence Award; and Matthew Hill, Arizona, Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award.
