Dr. Don Cross elected 1st V.P. at COCSA Annual Meeting
The Congress of Chiropractic State Associations held its annual business meeting and conference in New Orleans, La., in November. Palmer College of Chiropractic continued its support of the event, and Palmer Purple was highly visible as all attendees’ lanyards were in Palmer’s distinctive colors.
Almost 50 state chiropractic associations were in attendance for the conference. With 56 state association members, representing more than 32,000 chiropractors across the country, the conference is a high point for the leadership of the profession. The ACA, ICA, CCGPP, the Summit, and other national groups gave their annual reports to the members.
Dr. Regina Benjamin, the 18th Surgeon General, was one of the keynote speakers during the three-and-a-half-day event. During the Annual Business meeting, Don M. Cross, D.C., assistant professor at Palmer’s Port Orange, Fla., campus, was elected to the 1st vice president position. Dr. Cross has been active in the COCSA leadership for almost 10 years.
“I am honored to continue to serve in this position of leadership for the profession,” Dr. Cross said.
