National Poetry Month!

3April is NATIONAL POETRY MONTH, and in honor of that, the Special Collections & Archives department is highlighting some of the amazing poetry we have in our collection that is either written by D.C.’s, written about chiropractic, or inspired by Palmer in one way or another.

In the 1920’s a proud Palmer graduate, William H. Rauchfuss, wrote a whopping 75 poems and had it made into a book which he sent to B.J. and Mabel Palmer. Come check it out, or some of the many other poems we have here in the
archives!

You can also check out the poems on display, along with photos of Palmer in the 1920’s, outside the 3rd floor library on the Davenport campus, or visit our Facebook page to see a new poem posted every week!

6We would also like to invite Palmer students, alumni, or any lover of chiropractic to send us their chiropractic poetry to be added to our collection, and to be a part of chiropractic history!!

Send poems to rosemary.riess@palmer.edu
