Did you know?

  • He was instrumental in the organization of the first Palmer rugby team in 1960. Palmer dominated collegiate rugby in the 1970s, winning national titles in 1972, 1973, 1978 and 1979.

 

  • David Palmer was a student at the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce.

 

  • David Palmer graduated from Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1938.

 

  • As David got older, his interests expanded to golf, just like his father and was a part of a few different golf clubs. You can see some of his membership cards in the case!

 

  • David Palmer was inaugurated as President of Palmer in August, 1961.

 

  • David Palmer wrote two books titled, The Palmers, and The Three Generations.

 

  • The Library building was dedicated to David D. Palmer in August 19, 1977.

 

  • David Palmer’s enduring contribution was to achieve accreditation
    status for Palmer which officially occurred after his death in 1978.
